Great support of this honest Israeli Jew. I do believe that if more Jews express their support to Dieudo/Soral fight, this would definitely break the media propaganda that describes them as simply anti-Semitic. Actually, most of people who don’t know anything about the current revolution that is going on in France and continue to get “informed” by the mass media, believe that all Jews are a one united community that should side either with or against Dieudo/Soral but the reality is much more complex: in fact, it is always a minority of a community, organized in lobby, that talks in the name of its majority that did not ask them anything and usually creates the fear and the hate against its own community. In fact, these lobbies need this fear and hate, otherwise there is no point for them to exist (“pyromaniac firefighter” principle). In France, the stereotype created by the media propaganda is really strong but this is slowly changing in France thanks to Internet. The government is now preparing to apply censorship on the Internet though…
There is one thing that the majority of Jews in France agrees upon as one: La Shoah. Do you know of any Juif condemning the Loi Gayssot? BTW the “honest Israeli Jew” does not consider himself an Israeli anymore. WizOz
Not only Jews but anyone that has a little bit of intellectual honesty knows how illegitimate and absurd this unique law is. For example, Normal Finkelstein expresses his opinion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLtN0FfHVJY
“BTW the “honest Israeli Jew” does not consider himself an Israeli anymore.” Well, I guess you can be against the current fascist and colonist regime of apartheid of Israel but still wish an Israel state with no racial and ethnic discrimination (like Sholom Sand expresses: a Israel state for the Israel people and not the secondary state of western Jews)
@WizOz: I agree with gallier2 that you can find plenty of Jews – in France and elsewhere – who agree that the Loi Gayssot is stupid. Some will do that because of their respect for free speech, others because they don’t think that the courts are the correct place to settle historical topics, while other justs don’t like the “Holocaust Industry” and its constant arrogance. Jews, like any other group, are a very diverse bunch, and I don’t believe that there is anything out there, not a value, not an idea, not a person, who would unite all Jews. We often get deceived by the carefully constructed monolithic *image* projected by organized Jewry, but remember that this organized Jewry pretty much only represents itself and does not speak for most Jews.
I will say that my sympathy is clearly with Atzmon (and Shlomo Sands) who clearly reject the category “Jew” for themselves. The key here is that the version notion of a “secular Jew” is utterly illogical and, really a fallacy, an oxymoron.
How could someone, without cognitive dissonance, to think Jew without Judaism. A Jew is defined by Judaism, Judaism is defined as the religion of the Jews. Judaism is the firm belief in the Jewish right to the Land of Israel (in actual fact to the land of Judaea abusively named Israel). In this respect there is no difference between Judaism and Zionism. The Jews don’t make the difference, when they declare anti-Zionism a form of anti-Semitism. Of course one cannot demand logic in these matters because there is none. Cheerio, WizOz
Piere Vidal-Naquet the French Jewish Historian who opposed Faurrison and others who he called Holocaust Negationists, opposed the Gayssot Law because it was an attempt to legislate historical inquiry.

Jacob Cohen

and there are many, many more, but I’m not here to make your education.
And a nice BBC video of Dieudonné
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBP48KEedhw
It’s quite neutral and Alain Soral is interviewed and he could make his points without distortion, which is nearly unheard of.
You didn’t answer my question in the previous post “La “quenelle” now in music!! (in French with English subs)”.
What does the quenelle gesture mean?

So, justice didn’t follow Mr Valls. and now, they look like idiots…
@gallier2
Thank you for the info. You are welcome to enlighten my ignorance.

My 2cts anyway :-)

True. But Jacob Cohen (author of “le Printemps des Sayanim”) does. Check out this interesting video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St8IfqruFhQ
However,
I will say that my sympathy is clearly with Atzmon (and Shlomo Sands) who clearly reject the category “Jew” for themselves. The key here is that the version notion of a “secular Jew” is utterly illogical and, really a fallacy, an oxymoron.
But they are out there, for sure.

But, if he doesn’t like fascism, doesn’t that make Atzmon a lefty?
Neturei Karta eg, anti-Israel Djews.
